I guide you through each pose with gentle direction, making sure you feel comfortable and confident. I photograph exclusively with a blend of analogue film and digital capture. Film photography — using medium format and 35 mm cameras — gives your images a timeless, nostalgic quality that digital alone cannot replicate. I scan every negative by hand and deliver both high-resolution digital files and beautifully scanned film images.

All packages include access to my client wardrobe, which features a curated selection of flowing maternity gowns, soft kimonos, and elegant wraps in neutral tones that complement the natural environment. You are welcome to borrow items from the wardrobe at no additional cost, and I am always happy to advise on what will work best for your chosen location. The Thematic package includes a dedicated outfit consultation and accessories styling session before your shoot.
On the day of your outdoor maternity photoshoot, we will meet at the chosen location about 15 minutes before we start shooting. This gives you time to settle in, change if needed, and take in the surroundings. I will have already scouted the spot for the best light and angles. We will begin with some gentle warm-up poses and build up to the more expressive portraits as you grow in confidence. The whole experience is relaxed, conversational and fun. Many of my clients tell me they forgot they were being photographed after the first few minutes. By the end of the session, you will feel not only photographed but truly seen and celebrated.
The images you receive will be individually edited by hand — each digital file colour-graded and retouched with care, each film negative scanned at high resolution and cleaned of dust and scratches. You will receive a mix of colour and black-and-white images, depending on what suits each photograph best. Film images are delivered as both high-resolution scans and a set of small-format prints (10 x 15 cm) that you can frame, place in a album or send to grandparents. Every gallery is unique, and every image is finished with the same attention I would give to my own family photographs.
